Washing our eyes every day with an eye bath is not only a matter of personal hygiene, but also a healthy habit for our eyes.
When we are asleep and close our eyes for several hours, a phenomenon called hypoxia occurs. This consists of our eyes suffocating, to a certain extent, due to the lack of oxygen and resulting in itching that makes us rub our eyes.
The discomfort that appears after waking up and also at the end of the day (in this case because our eyes are subjected to air conditioning or to hardly blinking when we are in front of the computer screen) can be relieved if we start to use an eye bath twice a day as part of our daily hygiene: in the morning and at night.
In the same way as we clean our teeth every morning we should devote a minute to looking after our eyes. In addition to being a matter of hygiene and health, the feeling of immersing our eyes in an eye bath like Acuaiss with hyaluronic acid is very pleasant and refreshing.
Using an eye bath to wash our eyes is recommended rather than just washing our eyes with tap water. The reason for this is that tap water does not have the salinity or pH of tears, and therefore when our eye comes into contact with tap water it tends to compensate the pH and tonicity values, resulting in discomfort. This is the reason why we feel discomfort when we spend a long time under the shower and water gets into our eyes.
Washing our eyes everyday with a specific eye bath for cleaning the outside of the eye guarantees immediate relief and cleaner, healthier eyes.
